Fresh produce, artisan goods, food vans and live music, every Thursday evening as the sun goes down over the Pioneer River.

Mackay Riverside Market started as a handful of stalls by the Quay and has grown into a Thursday tradition — thousands of locals winding down the week with a river breeze, good food and familiar faces.
Every stallholder is someone from around here: growers, makers, cooks and crafters who put their name on what they sell. Come for the mango salsa, stay for the sunset over the Pioneer River.
The lineup shifts week to week, but the rhythm never does. Here's what to expect this Thursday.
Heaps of food and drink options, live music drifting over the water, free face painting for the kids, and stalls full of things you won't find anywhere else in Mackay.
A sample of the regulars you'll find down by the water — the full lineup rotates weekly on our Facebook page.
A taste of what's down by the water most weeks — more photos added as we go.
The market sets up along the Bluewater Quay riverside precinct — an easy stroll from the city centre, with parking nearby.
